Professor Zuemy Anette Flores from the Official Secondary School No. 32 “Santos Degollado” in Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, has publicly reported a case of harassment, bullying, and death threats from a student and their mother. These acts have affected her emotional well-being and endangered her family's safety, to the point of fearing to go out alone for everyday activities.

In a video circulating on social media, the teacher shared her situation, stating: “These threats have not only harmed my emotional well-being, but they have also endangered the integrity and safety of my husband and my daughter, who is only three years old.” The complaint has been formally submitted to the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico, where the crimes of bullying, harassment, and threats are being investigated.

The teacher mentioned that she initially decided not to speak on the matter for fear of retaliation, but has ultimately filed a criminal complaint for acts of harassment, bullying, and defamation. The situation has generated hostility at her workplace and affected her sense of security, making her feel vulnerable in her work environment.

Support for the teacher has been forthcoming, with parents, feminist groups, and neighbors protesting in front of the school to demand justice and preventive measures to prevent other teachers from facing similar situations. The teacher has highlighted that the accusations against her have increased in severity and frequency, creating a work atmosphere in which she no longer feels safe or protected.
